Bone Health – Diet and Biochemistry

Bone

Bone declining is a feature of growing older but not only. Younger people are suffering from bone related issues or a degenerative condition from Rheumatoid Arthritis to Osteoporosis.

In this talk we will uncover the intricacy of hormones, neurotransmitters, stress, diet and nutrients availability in bone health.

Menopause or injury, low stomach acid and coffee, vitamin D have a contingent effect on bone formation and destruction. Inflammation and gut health modulate bone remodeling.

We will discus about the role of diet and:

  • Gut as a modulatory organ – absorption of nutrients
  • Sex hormones and bone health
  • Stress hormones and bone decay
  • Vitamin D & inflammation

Dietary tips to strengthen your bones, manage chronic inflammation, weight and recipes will be provided.
